1. Data Controller

This Privacy Notice has been prepared by 4R Çevre ve Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (“4R Çevre”), acting as the data controller, pursuant to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).

At 4R Çevre, we attach importance to the security of your personal data and ensure that your personal data is processed, stored and protected in accordance with applicable legislation, particularly the KVKK.

This Privacy Notice has been prepared to inform individuals who visit our website, use our contact and quotation forms, benefit from our products or services, or place orders through our website about the processing of their personal data.

Depending on the nature of your relationship with 4R Çevre, the following personal data may be processed:

Identity Information: Name, surname and, where necessary, identification information required for invoicing.

Your bank or credit card details are processed by the relevant bank and/or payment service provider for the purpose of completing the payment transaction and are not stored by 4R Çevre.

4. Method and Legal Basis for the Collection of Personal Data

Your personal data is processed pursuant to Articles 5 and, where applicable, 6 of the KVKK on the following legal grounds:

Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of 4R Çevre, provided that such processing does not prejudice the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

Where explicit consent is required as the legal basis for a particular personal data processing activity, your explicit consent will be obtained separately.

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred, to the extent necessary and relevant for the purposes described above and for the fulfilment of legal obligations, to:

Legally authorised private persons or entities,

Banks and payment service providers,

Cargo and logistics service providers where product delivery is required,

6. Your Rights Under the KVKK

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, as a data subject, you have the right to:

Learn whether your personal data is being processed,

Request information if your personal data has been processed,

Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is being used in accordance with such purpose,

Know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred in Türkiye or abroad,

Request the correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,

Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions stipulated by the KVKK,

Request that correction, deletion or destruction operations be notified to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,

Object to any adverse outcome arising from the analysis of your personal data exclusively through automated systems,

Claim compensation for damages arising from the unlawful processing of your personal data.

7. Application Procedure

You may submit requests regarding your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK to 4R Çevre in accordance with Article 13 of the KVKK and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller:

In person or by post with a written and signed application,

Through your registered electronic mail (KEP) address,

Using a secure electronic signature or mobile signature,

Through an email address that you have previously provided to 4R Çevre and that is registered in our systems.

Your application must include your name and surname; your signature for written applications; your Turkish Republic identification number if you are a Turkish citizen; your nationality and passport number or, where applicable, identification number if you are a foreign national; your residential or business address for notification purposes; your email address for notification purposes, if any; your telephone number; and the subject matter of your request.

Applications will be concluded as soon as possible depending on the nature of the request and, in any event, within 30 days at the latest. If responding to the application requires an additional cost, fees may be charged in accordance with the tariff determined by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board.

8. Updates to this Privacy Notice

4R Çevre may update this Privacy Notice in line with changes in applicable legislation or its personal data processing activities.
